Blogtober 2018
I will be taking part in Blogtober this year!
At the weekend I saw a tweet from Colin Westwater about something called Blogtober and after a few minutes I was signed up to participate!
In 2017 Matt Heldstab started a project called Blogtober Tech Edition, the aim of the project was to get people blogging and help drive more traffic to each person's site. In 2017 there were over 300 blog posts from Blogtober bloggers and there were bloggers from 12 different countries involved.
The project is back this year and as I said I am signed up to participate! Each blogger is required to write/post at least 5 blog posts in the month of October. They can cover anything, from technical content to personal development. The project is thankfully sponsored by VMUG, so at the end of October there will be a prize draw where three lucky people will receive $100 gift cards.
Since moving to Grav, I've started to enjoy blogging again and I'm looking forward to producing some blog posts this month inconjunction with this project. If you want to find out more about my move to Grav check out my blog post, alternatively there are instructions on the Grav website to host your own Grav site on Azure here
I'll make sure I tag all my blog posts with Blogtober2018 for you to search under in the future.
And if you want to get involved this year, pop over to Matt's blog post here and sign up!
Happy blogging!
