# Women IT Pros EMEA Meetup April 2020

[Tania Lima Pereira](https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/268517?WT.mc%5Fid=tehielass-blog-salean&ref=techielass.com) has been hosting and running a Women IT Pro EMEA meetup for several months now and I've always enjoyed attending and this month I get to share my story with the audience! 

On the 8th April, at 11am GMT, I will be presenting to the group and sharing my story. The session is called **A female IT Pro story!**

> My name is Sarah and I've been in IT for over 14 years. I've worked through various roles from being a 1st line helpdesk operator in a local council to becoming a Cloud Solution Advocate with Microsoft. I identify as an IT Pro, I love infrastructures, working with servers, working in governance and all these areas are my passion. I've made the transition from being a on prem engineer to a cloud engineer and I now help others on that journey.

> In my spare time I also run the Glasgow Azure User Group to help build a community local to me. Over the last 2 years we've gone from a handful of attendees to over 60 regular attendees.
