# Weekly Update #40

I've released another weekly update video and hope you can all join me and tune in.

This week saw a ton of announcements thanks to [Microsoft Build](https://mybuild.microsoft.com/?WT.mc%5Fid=modinfra-0000-salean&ref=techielass.com), I've picked out three that I wanted to just mention. We now have a preview service were [Azure Backup](https://azure.microsoft.com/services/backup/?WT.mc%5Fid=modinfra-0000-salean&ref=techielass.com) supports backing up virtual machines that have [32 disks attached](https://azure.microsoft.com/updates/azure-virtual-machines-support-for-backup-is-now-in-preview/?WT.mc%5Fid=modinfra-0000-salean&ref=techielass.com).

Also in preview is support for Azure Kubernetes Service(AKS) within [Azure Policy](https://azure.microsoft.com/updates/azure-policy-for-azure-kubernetes-service-aks-in-preview/?WT.mc%5Fid=modinfra-0000-salean&ref=techielass.com), which will allow you to audit and enforce settings within your clusters.

And lastly there have been a number of [improvements](https://azure.microsoft.com/updates/azure-key-vault-service-enhancements-now-available/?WT.mc%5Fid=modinfra-0000-salean&ref=techielass.com) around [Azure Key Vault](https://azure.microsoft.com/services/key-vault/?WT.mc%5Fid=modinfra-0000-salean&ref=techielass.com)

In terms of my news this week, it was really cool to be involved with Microsoft Build and get the opportunity to be included in the Expert Q&A regarding Hybrid management and also moderate a few sessions in the background. As I said in my video if you have any feedback, good or bad about Build please do let us know.

I've got a number of customer and community engagements to work on for next week so it's been a pretty busy time for me. I am aiming to "take it easier" in June and focus on writing blogs and studying for the [AZ-500](https://docs.microsoft.com/learn/certifications/exams/az-500?WT.mc%5Fid=modinfra-0000-salean&ref=techielass.com) exam and get some personal development done this year. 😀
