# Speaking at Ladies of Code Glasgow

For awhile I've been promising to speak at a Ladies of Code event in Glasgow, Scotland and something either personal or work related has got in the way. I am pleased to say that is not the case now, I am due to speak at the event

The session I am delivering is a new one for me:

**A Walk through Azure**  
*Microsoft's cloud platform is called Azure, but what is it? What does it look like? Why should you care?*

*In this walk through session we'll cover off what the platform is, what it offers and how you can get started with it..*

*In this session I'll discuss how I strike that right balance and stay up to date with the world of IT.*
